Turns out it’s not for me. I’ve never been great at following rules. Conforming to the norm. Doing whats expected of me usually gives me hives and some sort of anxiety. I should probably look into the root of it all but at this stage of the game, why? Much ado about nothing.
It was a crazy summer, mottled with death, (more on that later.) Life, travel, friend visits, family visits, work, you get the picture.
Also thrown into the pot was getting our short term rental suite stocked, organized, final touches tweaked, and ready to pimp out.
You should check it out here.
It’s quite gorgeous, accented with rustic brick walls and a cozy fireplace. Some lovingly curated vintage and antique furniture pieces. Large windows allowing the morning sun to pour in, and I’m obsessed with the perfect shade of off white quartz counter tops. I’d love to just move in there myself. But it’s been booked since we slapped it up on the old Airbnb. Also we need to pay off some debt accumulated while building the damn thing.
Anyways, if I still have anyone left reading this M & M personal essay stuff, I just wanted you know I’m still here. Alive and kicking. Maybe treading water is a better term. Sometimes keeping (staying) afloat is more important than keeping up.
Try this
It’s delicious on garden fresh cucumber♥ Let it marinate slathered on your chosen veg for 15 - 30 mins for more flavour.
I live in a frozen tundra 7 months out of the year, and have used it on some pretty flavourless store produce that we are forced to consume throughout winter so we all don’t die of scurvy. It was pretty tasty on that to. But the fresh cuke, yes my friend, that is where it’s at.
On cucumber- Try throwing on some fresh ground pepper & fresh grated grana padano or parm- damn!
